A website redesign proposal for Frankie's aimed at boosting recruitment

As part of our project, my team was assigned the task of redesigning Franke's current website to address users' main pain point: usability.

Franke, known for its appliances, coffee systems, and innovation in kitchen spaces for the food industry, initiated this redesign to attract desired candidates more effectively. We aimed to enhance the website's usability and optimize recruitment efforts.

Reflection

Undertaking the redesign proposal for Frankie's website presented an exciting opportunity for our team to tackle a real-world problem: improving recruitment efforts through enhanced usability. Franke's reputation for innovation in kitchen spaces and its diverse range of appliances and coffee systems meant that our redesign had to reflect its forward-thinking ethos while also addressing the specific needs of potential candidates

Throughout the project, our focus remained on optimizing the website's usability to make the recruitment process smoother and more engaging for users. This involved streamlining navigation, improving accessibility, and ensuring that essential information about career opportunities was readily available.

The feedback we received from Franke stakeholders was overwhelmingly positive, validating our approach and reinforcing the importance of our redesign efforts. Knowing that our proposal resonated with the key decision-makers at Franke was incredibly rewarding and underscored the impact that thoughtful design can have on recruitment outcomes.

In hindsight, working on the Frankie's website redesign was not just about improving usability; it was also about leveraging design to support Franke's broader goals and objectives. It taught us valuable lessons about the intersection of design and recruitment strategy and reaffirmed the importance of user-centric design principles in creating meaningful digital experiences.
